A luxury cruise to highlight the best Croatia has to offer from Split to Dubrovnik! A gourmet journey focused on the food and wine of the country, combined with optional health and wellness activities including breath work and meditation. This tour is designed to be balanced, to give you the space to relax and revive, whilst experiencing the culture and history of one of most beautiful regions of the world.
You will be transferred from Split’s airport or your Split hotel to the harbour, where embarkation begins at 1 pm. Get settled in your cabin before attending a Welcome Reception onboard with a taste of local wine followed by a 4 course Welcome Dinner with local wines (WR, D)
In the morning we discover Split’s historic Roman architecture on a guided tour after that we set sail for the medieval city of Sibenik, founded over 1000 years ago; the oldest native Croatian city on the Adriatic. After a four course set lunch with wine or beer, we arrive to have the afternoon at leisure as you experience Sibenik’s stone alleys and amazing cafes. Tonight we indulge in a traditional Croatian dinner with local wines (B, L, D)
This morning we take a trip to the spectacular Krka Watefalls National Park, a Mother Nature phenomenon! Admire the beautiful waterfalls and stroll along pathways winding through the lush flora with a refreshing swim opportunity in front of the stunning Skradinski Buk waterfall. We then cruise to Bisevo and its famous Blue cave.
Afterwards we continue onwards to Vis. The town of Vis is on the northern side of the island and was developed near the remains of ancient Issa, the first urban centre in Croatia, formed by the Greeks in 4th century B.C. Visit the remains of the Roman Baths, Church or Our Lady and City museum or take a walk enjoying the view of the beautiful Villa Rusticae situated along the coast. Tonight we enjoy dinner in the region with wine tasting included (B, L, WT, D)
Leaving Vis we cruise towards the Korcula – the island’s main settlement and is known as the birthplace of Marco Polo, one of the world’s most famous explorers of all times. Stop for lunch in one of the secluded bays en route. Afternoon arrival in Korcula followed by local wine tasting. Korcula has an abundant choice of restaurants to enjoy your gourmet experience and there are numerous bars and clubs for those looking for evening entertainment. Overnight in Korcula. (B, L, WT)
In the morning head further south to the Island of Mljet. Join the Cruise Manager for a stroll to the famous salt lakes in the Mljet National Park and enjoy the boat ride t o the St Mary Isle to visit an ancient Benedictine monastery, an old abbey and a Church dating back to t he 12t h Century. Alternatively, you can rent bicycles, scooters or kayaks to explore the National Park or island on your own. Overnight in port of Pomena where we will be on board for the Captain’s Dinner (B, L, CD)
Morning departure for a small village called Slano on the mainland, a peaceful fishermen’s village and the starting point to Ston, another once fortified small village famous for its oysters situated on Peljesac Peninsula. Peljesac Peninsula is known as one of the best wine-producing regions in Croatia. After exploring the town we leave to a small nearby village to enjoy the authentic local tasting. Early morning cruise to Elaphiti islands with swimming stop on one of the secluded bays to spend the morning. Before lunch sail to Dubrovnik, before we moor at Gruz port we cruise alongside the old city walls, while lunch is served. After docking join a guided tour with panoramic ride and transfer included. You will see the Franciscan Monastery with Europe’s third oldest pharmacy, the Rector’s Palace and the Cathedral. Tonight we have a local home-hosted farewell meal with local wines (B, L, D)
After breakfast it’s time to disembark. You will be transferred to Dubrovnik airport or your Dubrovnik hotel.
